2015 Statewide Conference Awards
As the time draws near for our 2015 Statewide Conference on 10/29-10/31, 2015, we ask you to take a moment and send us your Award Nominations for:
Self-Advocate of the Year: An individual that has worked hard to speak up for themselves and others and has done something that has improved the lives of people with developmental disabilities or others in their community.
Self-Advocacy Group of the Year: A group that has done something in the past year to improve the lives of other people with developmental disabilities in their community.
Advisor of the Year: A self-advocacy group advisor who has helped to make your group grow stronger!
Direct Support Professional of the Year: DSP that has worked hard to improve the lives of people with developmental disabilities and has gone beyond the call of duty to help them reach their goals.
Agency of the Year: An organization the really knows how to support self-advocacy and help people get the life they want!
Media Award: A person or team of people that have done a great story about a person or persons with developmental disabilities.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE GREAT PEOPLE THROUGHOUT NEW YORK STATE WHO HELP SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF SELF-ADVOCACY!
