We Love Our Community
The Lower Hudson Valley Region is a very enthusiastic, passionate and loving community. We are in a period of rebirth and renewal, with new self-advocacy groups forming and established groups becoming stronger. Our region consists of four counties: Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Sullivan. The community is largely made up of groups affiliated with provider agencies, and we are working hard to connect with self-advocates from all across the region who may not already be involved with a group. Our focus is to increase self-advocacy activity through learning, networking, fundraising and supporting one another.
